In this new technological adventure by Jim Sinclair, Beware! The Loop examines the circumstances surrounding a mysterious request to assist with investigations into the strange disappearance of a military scientist experimenting with Time Travel, in a small country in the middle of Asia.
Time Warp Tommy is asked to explain how the world’s greatest expert on time travel has built a time machine, climbed into it and disappeared into a grey haze. With only two co-workers left behind and a pile of hand-written notes and diagrams, Time Warp Tommy must devise a way in which the experiment can be safely ended.
With the help of his highly intelligent daughter Emily, what they discover will lead them into a web of drama and intrigue, danger and distrust. When the co-workers are charged with their superior’s murder Time Warp Tommy’s must explain the science to the judges in order to save their lives. But time is running out.

For most of his working life Jim Sinclair has been involved in some aspect of radio technology including 21 years employed by Telecom Australia mainly installing, maintaining and operating broadcasting transmitter stations with power levels ranging from 200 watts to 250 kilowatts. Later Jim operated a small business with a large component of the activity in the HF land mobile field. Jim has been learning about radio technology and electronics for not quite 70 years and is still learning. This could just mean that he is a very slow learner, but he prefers to claim it is the nature of the subject. Jim Sinclair normally writes non-fiction and has had published two books on radio technology and two other books on number codes. In this, his second fictional novel, Jim has drawn heavily on his technical background and attempted to make a story that is technically accurate. However, it is complicated by the fact that in relation to time travel no one has actually done it yet, so any suggestion about how it might work can only ever be a guess. If you the reader suggest a different guess and can back up your suggestion with solid technical facts Jim would be interested to hear from you.
