Dominic Jones is a passionate primary school educator, with over 20 years teaching experience throughout Australia. His pedagogical approach in the classroom encourages students to develop and adapt a growth mindset to contribute to resilience and effective learning.
Dominic grew up and was educated in Sydney and currently resides in Adelaide with his wife and three children, and works as a full-time primary school teacher.
In March 2023, Dominic’s son who was in Year 11 at the time, was in a pedestrian accident and against all odds, survived. During the lengthy recovery, he observed his own son adjust his mindset and achieve his goal of returning to school to graduate the following year. His son’s recovery was the inspiration to write this book, Dominic’s debut novel and the first in this Inner Hero series—a creative way to share a message of hope and inspiration with others.
